New Weapons!

So, as I’ve alluded to in posts and the recent newsletters, I do have another few weapons that I’m developing – currently a ballista and a slingshot.

I want to give players another option, something that could be a little more accurate than the catapult but still fun to play with!

The ballista is looking good and I’m hoping one or two more iterations will have it working nicely.

About the slingshot…

Now, the reason that this is not getting a post of it’s own is that development of this idea has paused. This is because it was not only difficult to use but when it was used, it fired a boulder that completely cleared the battlefield and, on one case, hit another player between the eyes.

He was fine but I was horrified!

There are, naturally, ways that we can de-power it but, considering that the slingshot is a little more fitting for the game and operates in such a similar way, I am looking at creating that and another weapon instead of taking the slingshot any further.

If you have any suggestions that arent Trebuchet based, please do get in touch!

I’ll be sure to post more about the production of the ballista as soon as there is more to see!
