Something I didn’t expect was what a difference having the game in a box would make to my children’s view of Catapult Kingdoms.

It seems since it got packaged it became a ‘real game’ and they’ve been getting it out at every opportunity. When their cousins came over for some pre-Christmas festivities there was only one game to play apparently! My boys are 4 and 6, with their cousin also 6, so we kept it light on the rules and instead focused on construction and destruction.

All 5 prototype box sets were thoroughly playtested, alongside my box of practice pieces – as apparently there’s never enough bricks – and i’m glad to say they held up to some serious battling.

Such an amazing feeling having the kids play a game I’ve made – and that they enjoy it too, of course!
