One of the many things I love about making a physical game over my day job of making computer games is that when you finish something you can see the results – good or bad – spread out all over the table.

Now, I’m not saying everyone likes seeing the table covered in cards, spare bits of paper, blunt scalpel blades and cutting mats along with decks of homemade cards…

Anyhoo, I’ve printed the cards for the prototype on my home computer on linen paper to make them look a little extra cool and spent a happy Saturday night slicing them up into (roughly) the right sizes and I’m really happy with the results.

I wouldn’t ship them but the designs look good and they feel nice and even shuffle pretty well – definitely good enough for adding a tactical edge to your games!
